Safeguarding Policy
Believe to Achieve Tuition is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times.

Commitment to Safeguarding

  • Sessions are delivered by a qualified primary school teacher.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate is held, with ongoing checks through the DBS Update Service.
  • All sessions follow professional standards and statutory safeguarding guidance.

Online Safety

  • Online sessions are conducted in a professional manner at all times.
  • Children should attend sessions in a suitable, open space within the home.
  • It is recommended that a parent or responsible adult is nearby, particularly for younger children.

In-Person Safety

  • In-person sessions take place in appropriate community venues.
  • Parents are responsible for drop-off and collection of their child at agreed times.
  • Children remain the responsibility of parents/carers outside session times.

Communication

  • Communication regarding tutoring takes place directly with parents or carers.
  • No private one-to-one messaging with children occurs outside of sessions.

Concerns

  • Any safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously and, where necessary, reported to the appropriate authorities in line with statutory guidance.
